“The Sopranos” star Drea de Matteo is speaking out about her decision to join adult content platform OnlyF. The company, founded in 2016, allows users to subscribe to content from individual content creators and is known for selling access to s3xually explicit and p0rn0graphic videos and images.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, DeMatteo, who plays Adriana La Selva in the hit mafia drama, talked about how much she gets paid from TV projects and said she started sharing on OnlyF The explicit content was intended to “save her family.”
“People can’t believe I didn’t really get a lot of money for any of the jobs I did,” the 51-year-old actor said. “People think I’m made of gold, but that’s not the case. I go from job to job.
“Things have changed in the past three years. My children have been my main focus,” she said. “I’ve turned down countless jobs in the past just to be with my kids because their dad [musician Shooter Jennings] wasn’t around and wasn’t around that often.”
Many other famous actors and musicians have also sold rights to images and videos through OnlyF, including Cardi B, Bella Thorne, Tyga and Chris Brown. In response to questions about her decision to join the platform, DeMatteo said: “I don’t care. I don’t. I’d rather save my family than save face.”
She added: “I know some people have said nasty things about me signing up for OnlyF. But you know, what we see in this house is that mom is a fighter and doesn’t accept defeat.”
In “The Sopranos,” DeMatteo’s character is the girlfriend of gangster Christopher Moltesanti (played by Michael Imperioli), who eventually becomes an FBI informant.
